...I did not go to Maryland Sheep and Wool. Gorgeous weekend for it though. Had I gone, it would definitely have rained or been humid. :)
Friday I took the day off to go to the movies; Neal and I saw Iron Man at the Senator. If you're a comic book geek as I once was, I encourage you to go. It's fun, has good humor, and is not as insanely action-packed as some other comic book adaptations have been. And Robert Downey Jr is convincing as a playboy billionaire/engineering genius. I've always liked him and am pleased to see that he seems to have his act together these days.
Saturday started off with a bang. I cut a good slice into my finger with a serrated knife. It didn't quite make it through the crust on the loaf I was slicing, bounced off, and landed just above the third knuckle of my left index finger. Blood ensued. Lots of it. But Neal patched me up and luckily I didn't need to do anything strenuous with it all day. I'm right-handed and never realized how much I used my left hand for small tasks though. And knitting. I knit English-style, but moving the left index finger hurts a bit, so I suppose I'll have to curtail my knitting activity for a few days until it has a chance to heal a bit. S'ok, Christmas presents can wait. :)
