Triangles - another of my favorite shapes!

I wanted a quick and mindless knit, so I started the "kerchief scarf" from Last Minute Knitted Gifts the other day. I knit 111 rows with worsted-weight yarn, which I think is thicker than what the pattern calls for (and don't ask me what the yarn is - the ball band is in the basement and I am on the second floor...something 100% acrylic that I picked up at A.C. Moore some months back because I liked the self-striping thing) and the scarf is...a bit short. It's basically a little, stripey, garter-stitch triangle. So here it is, as a neckerchief, worn bandit-style (I'd be a stylin' stagecoach robber), and as a babushka (that's too short to tie). Which way should I go? I can add an i-cord on the long side to make the ends longer, or maybe a ruffled edge to make it wider (a Sursa for a Cabbage Patch Kid, perhaps). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm not in the mood to work on my Tiger sock, nor on either of the scarves I have in progress. What should I start next? I'm thinking that big bag from Handknit Holidays, but I gotta clean the yarn first. It smells a tad mildew-y, and I am wondering if a quick trip through the dryer wouldn't help a bit (tied in many places, put in a zippered pillowcase cover, of course). I may do a test skein tonight.

I'm a bit sleepy so maybe I won't knit at all. (Heresy!)
